Systems thinking, to me, is the art of being detail-oriented and big-picture at the same time.

• Or: answering the question “which details matter to the big picture?”

My most formal systems experience was Rocketry, but I continue to learn and apply concepts like system boundaries and interfaces, black boxes, and feedback loops.

I’m self-studying (slowly, as I pursue my Master’s) controls theory and cybernetics.
